Objetivo:
Introduzir o conhecimento das principais ferramentas para a realização do tratamento ortodôntico e capacitar o aluno a reconhecer as suas indicações, limitações e habilitá-lo a utilizar os melhores recursos para os tratamentos ortodônticos preventivo e corretivo das más oclusões dentárias e esqueléticas, de acordo com o diagnóstico de cada paciente.

Justificativa:
O conhecimento das ferramentas ortodônticas, suas indicações e a habilitação para utilizá-las são fundamentais para a condução do tratamento ortodôntico e obtenção de resultados excelentes, de acordo com o planejamento realizado.

• Ancoragem ortodôntica
• Tratamento ortodôntico preventivo e interceptativo
• Tratamento ortodôntico corretivo
• Tratamento ortopédico facial e funcional dos maxilares
• Tratamento ortodôntico-cirúrgico
