Descrição: Analisar questões técnicas referentes ao domínio do instrumento, abordando aspectos históricos, estéticos, estilísticos e analíticos que propiciem uma execução profissional do repertório violoncelístico. Tem como objetivo tornar o aluno apto a desenvolver atividades profissionais de solista, camerista, músico de orquestra, assim como habilitá-lo com ferramentas que permitam um contínuo aprimoramento e incremento do seu repertório.

Programa Resumido: Cabe ao professor, face ao potencial de cada aluno, orientá-lo na escolha de um repertório de dificuldades técnicas e artísticas progressivas, visando seu aprimoramento enquanto instrumentista. O aluno deverá trabalhar uma variedade de obras que sejam representativas da diversidade de estilos de época, correntes estéticas, gêneros musicais e técnicas de execução e de composição que são característicos da literatura violoncelística.

Programa: Escolher repertório de acordo com o nível técnico do aluno a partir da lista abaixo.

METODOLOGIA: Aulas individuais abordando exercícios diários, escalas, arpejos, estudos, peças com e sem piano, sonatas e concertos.

AVALIAÇÃO:
Método: A avaliação será semestral e incluirá uma prova prática ao final de cada semestre com banca formada pelo professor de instrumento e mais um docente da instituição.
Critério: O critério adotado considerará o progresso realizado durante as aulas, a assiduidade, a dedicação ao estudo diário do instrumento e o desempenho na prova prática. Durante esta prova será avaliado o potencial artístico do aluno, competência e evolução no domínio técnico do instrumento, adequação estilística, capacidade de concentração, etc.. Caberá ao aluno, em conjunto com seu professor, determinar quais obras do programa mínimo apresentará em cada semestre.
