Objetivos
At the end of the course, the student will be able to: - List the main objectives of internationalization. - Contrast the Brazilian health model with that of other countries. - Contrast the training of the speech and language pathologist in Brazil with that of other countries. - Describe the role of international professional associations.

- Internationalization and higher education - Social skills and internationalization - Vocational training of speech therapists in Brazil: contrasts with other countries - Brazilian Health System: comparative analysis with other countries - Prevalence of communication disorders in Brazil: comparison with other countries - Intervention models for communication disorders in Brazil - comparative analysis with other countries - Speech Therapy in the 21st Century - trends in the area of hearing, language, voice, speech and swallowing.

- The course will be taught in English and in distance learning. - The didactic activities will be carried out by means of videoconference or by the virtual Moodle learning environment, enabling the monitoring of the frequency and performance of the students throughout the course. - The participation of foreign teachers, from programs of countries with which FOB-USP has or intends to develop international cooperation, will always be privileged, whenever possible, always seeking a globalized look at science and communication disorders - Lectures are offered, studies directed with teachers of the discipline, works and debates (online forums).

- Performance in the works - Performance in the debates - Proof (face-to-face) The student who obtains a final grade equal to or higher than 5.0 (five) and has at least 70% of the frequency in the subject will be approved, with the corresponding credits.
Norma de Recuperação
The extended time for completion will be applied to the students according to the date established in the USP school calendar, in the form of written tests and / or work on the specific topic of the discipline.
