Este curso tem como objetivo introduzir os princípios teóricos-metodológicos da área de Ecologia Humana, bem como discutí-los sob a luz dos avanços recentes da disciplina e áreas correlatas (antropologia social, história, biologia, ecologia, geografia e arqueologia.

Programa Resumido
Este curso tem como objetivo introduzir os princípios teórico-metodológicos da área de Ecologia Humana, bem como discuti-los sob a luz dos avanços recentes da disciplina e áreas correlatas (antropologia social, história, biologia, ecologia, geografia e arqueologia).
 
 
 
Programa
Este curso é uma introdução do instrumental teórico metodológica da Ecologia Humana, bem como suas áreas relacionadas como a Arqueologia, a Geografia, a Ecologia e a História. Os temas abordados são: origens da abordagem Ecológica na antropologia; evolução, evolucionismo social e ecologia cultural; darwinismo, meio-ambiente e cognição; antropologia ecológica e abordagem ecossitêmica; ecologia política; ecologia histórica e etnoecologia; antropologia ambiental e criítica social; virada ontológica e, perspectivas e debates contemporâneos.

Testes de verificação de leitura. Assiduidade. Seminários. Ensaios críticos. O conceito final será calculado com base em uma resenha crítica do livro que será recomendado como leitura final do curso (50%), nas resenhas descritivas semana.
