Capacitar o aluno com conhecimentos teóricos e práticos na área de sistemas de liberação de fármacos e nanotecnologia.
O conteúdo programático visa fornecer ao aluno conhecimento nas diferentes técnicas de obtenção e avaliação físico-química e biológica de sistemas de liberação, incluindo, sistemas matriciais, sistemas de liberação colônica, entérica, filmes, implantes, produtos transdérmicos, micro e nanopartículas biodegradáveis e biopersistentes. A ministração de forma integrada dos aspectos tecnológicos e controle de qualidade permitirão um aprendizado com uma sequência lógica, fazendo com que o aluno construa de forma gradativa o seu conhecimento em sistemas de liberação podendo, assim, aplicá-lo de forma mais eficiente na produção industrial.
