O presente curso tem por objetivo discutir diferentes propostas teóricas que pretendem dar conta do processo de aquisição da linguagem e a relação entre os diversos componentes da linguagem e seu desenvolvimento, à luz de dados - sintáticos e semânticos - de aquisição. Também serão discutidos a natureza do input que a criança recebe, a relação entre aquisição e maturação biológica e as diferentes metodologias atualmente utilizadas para obtenção de dados em aquisição.
Discussão sobre a aquisição de fenômenos sintáticos e semânticos, tanto em português, como em outras línguas que se mostrarem relevantes.
